The emphasis on this course is to gain a great sailing experience while you learn all the basics of being part of a team crewing a yacht at sea. You'll be in a friendly atmosphere
Like the Start Sailing course this is not an exam or a test but, as the name suggests, you do need to demonstrate competence in each area of the syllabus to gain your RYA certificate.
If you've completed the RYA Start Sailing Course you can cover the Competent Crew course in 3 days instead of 5.
Come on your own, as a couple or if you can get a group together, charter the whole boat and enjoy the sailing experience together. |
